D09
Allocation, consolidation, and gating of spatial memory in retrosplenial cortex
Project D09 will address the role of the retrosplenial cortex in navigation and in the long-term consolidation of spatial and contextual memory. Specifically, the project will use miniaturized two-photon microscopes in freely moving animals to describe cellular and projection-specific activity in the retrosplenial cortex both during open-field foraging and during a novel, augmented reality spatial reference memory task.
